CardiOmega Plus is a twin-pack in which the micronutrients are provided in a separate capsule to the Omega 3 (Fish Oil) capsules. Both may be taken at the
same time, but providing them separately allows the
highest possible amount of Omega 3 to be encapsulated
without compromising the anti-oxidative properties of the micronutrients.

Product Improvements

The appearance of the two capsules in Cardiomega Plus has recently altered, but there has been no change to the active ingredients or their amounts within the capsules. The Micronutrient capsule contains Lycopene, a very dark red substance derived from tomato. Previously, the Lycopene was in the form of “beadlets” that appeared as dark speckles within the capsule. We have now made the Lycopene into a much finer powder which is more evenly mixed within the capsule and this causes the whole capsule to appear red. The Omega 3 capsule previously contained vegetable chlorophyll in the gelatin shell which gave the capsule a greenish tinge. We have removed this so that the capsule now shows the natural golden colour of the fish oil.
